Final Exam Instructions

The final exam will be available for download on the homework page and Gradescope beginning 2:45 pm on Monday, March 16. The exam is an open book exam. Upload a copy of your completed exam on Gradescope by 6:15 pm on Monday.

Tentative Course Outline

We will spend a few days on introductory material, then approximately three weeks each on elliptic, parabolic, and hyperbolic equations. In each case, we will first examine a bit of the theory, followed by finite difference and finite element approximations.
