SCOD14 Announcement

The 2014 Southern California Optimization Day will be held at UC San Diego, in La Jolla, California, on May 23, 2014. This will be an open, relaxed, and informal conference. Many attendees will be from the greater San Diego and Los Angeles area, but all researchers, postdocs and graduate students interested in optimization are welcome to attend. All areas of optimization will be represented: convex and nonconvex; theory and applications.

Talk Format
The program includes lectures on a wide range of topics in optimization theory and applications. Each lecture is scheduled for 30 minutes.

Scientific Program
The 2014 Southern California Optimization Day will begin at 9am, on May 23, in AP&M 2402, UC San Diego. The schedule of talks and related information will be posted on the Scientific Program page shortly before the meeting, and will be distributed to participants on May 19. A PDF of the program (including some useful maps) will also be posted on that page when available.
