  • Grades for the letter grade (qualifying exam) option are based on homework (25%), and the final exam (75%). Grades for the S/U option are based on homework (100%).
  • The final exam is Wednesday, March 18, 3:00-6:00. Those taking the S/U option are exempt from the final exam.
  • Office hours are 2:00-3:00 Thursday, AP&M 5771.

Final Exam Instructions

The final exam will be available for download on the homework page and Gradescope beginning 2:45 pm on Wednesday, March 18. The exam is an open book exam. Upload a copy of your completed exam on Gradescope by 6:15 pm on Wednesday.

Mathematics 270ABC will be divided into six blocks, each approximately five weeks, surveying major topics in Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computation.

  • Initial Value Problems for Ordinary Differential Equations (270C)
